The Baths
At 300-capacity, The Baths is Brighten The Corners’ largest venue. The venue boasts a professional grade sound system and lighting rig, and the low ceilinged aesthetics work perfectly for both live music and clubnights.
The Space
The Baths has hosted artists such as AJ, Tracey, The Wedding Present and Grooverider and audiences love the crisp sound, sightlines and wide, venue width bar. The venue is a flexible space and has also been host to beer festivals, workshops and comedy shows.
History
The venue formerly known as St Matthews Baths Hall was used for live music in the late 60s and early 70s with boards being laid over the swimming pool to make way for audiences. Legendary acts including Led Zeppelin, Cream and Rod Stewart appeared before it was repurposed as a social club and then a gym.
