The Church is available to hire and can accommodate a broad range of activities, whether it’s to put on a gig or clubnight, private parties, workshops, markets, networking drinks, or something completely different. With its character, atmosphere and flexible space, The Church provides a memorable setting for events of all kinds.
The Space
The beautiful Grade II listed medieval Church in the middle of town, was deconsecrated in the 1970s, and now functions as a space for music lovers and creatives, so if it’s an edgy vibe in a stunning setting you’re after, The Church is the perfect venue.
The Church can accommodate many different uses and the large main area of the venue is perfect for dancing, yoga, seated events, screenings, meetings, breakout workshops, conferences, you name it.
Equipment & Bar
The venue’s primary use is as a music venue and as well as having an impressive lighting rig, we are able to provide equipment such as microphones for speeches and presentations, a projector and screen, band backline (drumkit, amps) and DJ equipment (both vinyl and digital). We can also use our network of contacts across the local creative industry to source any other bits you may need.
We have a fully licensed bar and espresso machine, and although we don’t have kitchen facilities you are welcome to bring in or order food straight to The Church.
