Sam Milne is a 17 year old from Ipswich, who plays original indie rock music with his band- the Tyrants. Sam has played venues like the Smokehouse and the Church, opened Brighten the Corners Festival 2025, and looks to grow through the music scene. His lyrics touch on the desperation of teenagers, the current state of global politics and confused romance, taking inspiration from stellar acts like Sam Fender and Fontaines D.C. From writing his first single “Window” with his best friend to selling out venues across East Anglia, the Ipswich music scene seems to grow ever.
Ipswich-formed, Norwich-based band building momentum after standout performances at Brighten the Corners Festival, Camden, UEA, The Smokehouse, and Voodoo Daddy’s. 2026 has opened with high-energy sets at St Stephen’s Church, BTC All-Dayer, and Portman Road Fanzone, with their debut EP now streaming on all platforms.
The Poms are an up and coming force in the Indie Rock scene. The band have a range of influences, using this to their advantage to create raw, catchy indie anthems, with a heavier twist. Be prepared for high energy and electrifying performances when they take the stage.
