  Prolapse formed in Leicester in the early 90s and are now spread across the UK and Scandinavia. Still pursuing their own path of repetition and twisted melodies, they merge influences from post punk to krautrock and even folk. Their previous releases have included numerous singles and four albums on various labels, including Cherry Red and Radar. They feature vocalists Mick Derrick and Linda Steelyard, whose intense duelling vocals combine with ferocious triple guitar assault and pummelling rhythms.

  The fifth Prolapse album “I Wonder When They’re Going to Destroy Your Face” will be released on Tapete Records and marks the bands first new recordings since their last album, “Ghosts of Dead Aeroplanes”, released 26 years ago, but in some ways it feels like there hasn’t a break at all. From the opening incessant riff of ”The Fall of Cashline”, Prolapse set their stall out, hammering the message that they’re back, over and over (and over and over) again.

  It has taken them almost four decades, but Suffolk-based sexagenarian noise rock malcontents Earth Mother Fucker have finally recorded enough material for their first full-length studio album - Do Not Resuscitate.
  
  Formed in 1988, the original EMF was alienating audiences on the toilet circuit when their younger, more attractive namesakes from the Forest of Dean were still in short trousers. In that time, they've pioneered a mash-up micro-genre of one, delivering death country murder ballads and bleached-out retina-detaching noise rock. Never a band anyone could accuse of being prolific, in 38 years they've released one EP, a live album and a couple of collections of demos recorded in a barn in Holbrook in the late eighties.
  
  Instead, they've focused on building a reputation on the back of their confrontational live shows. In 2020, they came to the attention of UK Independent Venue Week, who selected their no-cock rock anthem, I Fuck Therefore I Am, as one of their top nine live performances of 2020, including it on the Independent Venue Week Live 2020 album with Self Esteem, Sleaford Mods and Anna Calvi.
  
  This renewed interest inspired the band to begin work on their debut studio album, which characteristically has taken them over five years to complete. The album collects material spanning the band’s long career and beyond. Featuring new interpretations of two post-punk throwbacks from Bruce MacGregor's tenure in Tender Lugers, a crepuscular cover of Row by labelmates Sealionwoman, and a track inspired by Ipswich grime pioneers Hectic Squad.
