Bridget. is grunge-punk fire incarnate, tearing through UK stages with raw, unstoppable energy. After opening for The Smashing Pumpkins and Skunk Anansie, and leaving her mark at Glastonbury, Beautiful Days, Boomtown, and Bloodstock, she’s storming the alt-scene on her own terms. Punk-fuelled tracks with razor-edged vocals; Bridget. shows are electric from start to finish.
French Toast is a fresh, dynamic band playing a fusion of indie, garage, rock and soul. All underscored with a rich vein of raw energy punk: musically, philosophically, and politically. Heavy guitar riffs, keyboard synth and an infectious beat scaffold a truly vocal and physical performance. Their energy spreads at speed throughout the crowd. The sound somehow remains melodic despite the high energy delivery, and the lead singer catapulting from the stage with little regard to the concept of landing. The feminist and anti-discrimination messaging is woven into the performance as a rousing invitation to all. An invitation worth accepting.
