Brighten The Corners is hosting a public community event to share plans for a £1.92 million regeneration project that will transform The Baths into a cutting-edge Creative Digital Skills Lab for the region.

Free to attend and open to all, the event will take place on Tuesday 10th February between 6.30pm and 8.30pm at The Church on St Stephen’s Lane in Ipswich.  The bar will be open until 9pm.

The evening will be hosted by Marcus Harris-Noble, our newly appointed Director of Engagement and Skills. Marcus previously launched Croydon Creative Digital Lab in South London, and is passionate about building a vibrant hub here in Ipswich.

We’ll be inviting attendees to share their thoughts and ideas in this early stage of the regeneration project, to help us work with other providers to develop a series of pilot projects that fit the needs of our local community.

Discussions will be based around the following questions:

  1. How do you see yourself using the space in the future (as a local business, community group, creative entrepreneur, freelancer or artist)?

  2. What kinds of projects, activities, or workshops do you think could work well at The Baths?

  3. Are there other local groups or organisations you think would benefit from using the space?

Spaces are limited, please book your space via DICE.

  • Tickets: Free entry but spaces limited so book your space
Ages: 14+ (14-17s must be accompanied by an adult)

Accessibility: There is step-free access into the venue and the bar / accessible toilet / venue are all on one floor.  For further information, please email info@brightenthecorners.co.uk so we can make your visit as comfortable as possible.
