e.m.arson is a UK-based experimental and electronica artist blending sampling, electro-acoustic instrumentation, and sonic manipulation in striking and unconventional ways. Their work crafts haunting, genre-blurring soundscapes that fuse raw emotion with ethereal grit, industrious storytelling, and experimental textures.
Working with field recordings, synthesisers, guitar, prose, poetry, and self-built instruments from discarded materials, e.m.arson’s practice is deeply DIY and exploratory. Recent releases include the single "it’s all just noise" for Record Store Day, with a new album set for release in September via Electronic Sound Records. Earlier self-releases include the debut full-length "The Pillbox (LP Demo)", "The Workhouse" (EP), and "when icarus fell from the sky" (single).
Recent live performances include supporting caroline, Pye Corner Audio, and Fiesta en el Vacío. Her live shows embrace the unexpected, combining live improvisation with her electronic “laptronica” sets.
