DJ, producer and radio host Lochness is one of the quiet architects of the town's electronic music scene, now broadcasting regularly on Transient Radio to an audience that stretches well beyond Suffolk. Rooted in the festival lineage and UK Sound System culture, his sets move with the same restless energy that once defined pirate radio.
Cut from a DIY cloth — skating, shooting analogue video, teaching himself production — Loch's approach to music is inseparable from the community spirit. Alongside the Bambaataa crew he has been building homegrown events infrastructure in Ipswich, organising nights that prioritise the dancefloor above all else. That work has seen him DJing at Latitude Festival whilst running the Genesis Sound System.
A record collector with five years of crate digging behind him and an ear shaped by bass and grooves, Loch is as much a documentarian of sound as he is a DJ, with more festival appearances on the horizon and a growing presence beyond Ipswich.
