Arthur Black
Alt-folk newcomer Arthur Black was raised entirely off-grid, and on-the-road for most of their childhood and teenage years. Growing up without the influence of the internet and not in the school system, the East Anglian based artist fostered an appreciation for alternative sounds through their family’s eclectic music tastes. Following a family tragedy when Arthur was 8, they resorted to a borrowed guitar and their innate songwriting ability for comfort and solace.
Over the last 18 months Arthur has formed a band and released their debut EP. The music is a powerful culmination of their musical evolution, blending raw emotion, intricate storytelling into a sound that is entirely their own.
