SØWT
SØWT operates from the heart of the Dutch underground music scene. Martijn Claessens, Jesse van Eiken, Koen Verhees and Danielle Warners are making waves as musicians, sound technicians, concert organizers and artists. They are amongst the current generation of young guardians to monumental squad ‘t Stroomhuis; a rare refuge for creative souls that has functioned as such for 20 years already. The band self-released their tape Junkie’s Boneyard in 2018 and is unleashing their first LP Kids Hurting Kids in 2023.
Distinguishable vocal violence alternating with introvert mumbling and everything in between escapes the throats of Koen, Jesse and Danielle; in turns and all together they spit lead vocals for the band. Drummer Martijn is known amongst his peers as a living legend due to his talent and passion. Experiencing SØWT live overwhelming when the peak and piercing when they come down. The audience is left with gorgeous guitar melodies that linger on long after they have disintegrated into distortion and feedback.
The misfortune, the drama and their perfectionism soaks SØWT in an undeniably abrasive character. The noise rock formation form Eindhoven is represented by Amsterdam based booking agency Radar Agency.
