kirakira is a multi-intrumental singer-songwriter grown in Norwich. In the space between bedroom-pop heartache and white-rabbit indie dreams, she finds beauty in the drone of the mundane and floats in the idyll of ambience.
Taking a heart-bearing lyrical approach to music in the way that you may see in the realms of Samia, Phoebe Bridgers or Beabadoobee, and watering her recordings with reverb and soft pads, kirakira nurtures guitar music that feels as though plants could grow to it. As she leaves adolescence, soft-grunge sensibilities become more present, drifting in an ocean of distortion and a newfound reflectivity.
